Flower Art

I picked flowers to find the “softer gentler, more sensitive side” of myself and life. like the saying goes to “slow down and smell the roses”. This red flower was similar to a rose but it was unique. It was different and yet had the same flair as a rose. It had a shock value to it as well.

The yellow sunflower reminds me that it’s time to be bright. It reminds me of when you have to get up in the morning and “rise to the occasion”, being cheerful. Looking at this flower reminds me of the sun. It stays sunny even at night. It stays open all the time.

These two white flowers remind me of the way you can bring beauty from the outside inside to bring joy into the home. I see them sitting in the vase, maybe in the kitchen or living room. adding beauty to the home.

These are two flowers weathering a storm.

They hold strong against the storm.

These flowers can also close up so their petals don’t get destroyed. I see the resilience of beauty in the face of nature and the storms of life.

The two white flowers are examples of beauty on the hillside near a lake. Beautiful flowers on a hillside remind me of a couple being out in the wilderness, yet, as one.

This is a three piece suite. I’m

taking a flower but only a portion of the flower and making a graphic image of it
It’s a flower but it’s not complete.. it shows only a portion of the flower. I liked the way the flower was shaped, it was like a daisy and full of petals. I’m not very good at the flower names. Flowers don’t live long under my control ”

This painting reminds me of serenity....2 fish in a pond with the covering of the lilly pad.
